Briarwood Wild Beauty received her three Regional Qualification emails and we can’t wait to go and support her in February.
A lifelong dream was achieved for everyone at Briarwood Stud when Briarwood Remembrance and her rider Meg appeared in Horse and Hound. We could not be more proud of Meg and Tilly, and hope to be able to support them at the Regionals.

We waved a fond farewell to Nigel, who travelled to his new home with Arthur, bred by our good friend Jo. The two boys will grow up together and hopefully enjoy many adventures!
We were very sad to hear that Briarwood Pikture Perfekt passed away after a short illness. Her owner Kate gave her the most wonderful life and we feel so lucky that Poppy had those precious years with her.
A loyal and kind member of the Briarwood family sadly left us at the beginning of November. Marie Pomphret was a constant source of advice, strength and showed unfailing support for our little stud. She was not only the owner of Briarwood Bumblebee, but her and her daughter Meg also had Briarwood Remembrance on loan. Marie was never too busy to offer a kind word, and she will be missed more than we can say.

After several months with our good friend Vicki, Briarwood Ultimate Gift (Coco) went from strength to strength and was soon ready to find that perfect person. We could not have been more delighted when she found a new home with Kristy. There is nothing like watching a homebred start a new journey with their owner, and after everything Coco has been through, we could not have asked for a better home for her.

Laura accompanied friends Sara and Jo to an Elite Foal Registration Tour with St Pr Roxana La Rossa and her stunning colt by Foundation, Finvarra, bred by Jo. It was such a pleasure to see Roxie so happy and to meet Arthur for the first time. We feel so privileged to be a part of his life and can't wait to see the adventures he and Jo get up to.
Briarwood Wild Beauty continued the successful start of her BD career with four wins at her first two Novice outings. This little mare is exceeding all expectations and we are so grateful to Charlotte for the time and care she is putting into Ella's journey.

The Trailblazers Dressage Championships at Stoneleigh provided a chance for Laura to catch up with two of our Briarwood horses. Both Briarwood Freude (with owner/ride Lizzie) and Briarwood Reign of Fire (with owner/rider Jess) performed beautifully and received top ten placings in the Preliminary and the Novice. It was an amazing moment to see these horses doing the job that they were bred for, and witnessing the relationships between them and their owners.
Briarwood Wild Beauty achieved Regional Qualification at Preliminary with her rider Charlotte on her first attempt, achieving scores over 70%. We could not be happier with how Ella is progressing.
Briarwood Bumblebee made her debut at Medium with rider Meg and scored an impressive 69%.
Briarwood Santiago made his BD debut with owner Jan and both rider and breeders were delighted with his performances.
Briarwood Fatal Attraction enjoyed a very successful first outing with young rider Caitlin. We are so excited about this new partnership.
